Millions of dollars go unclaimed at the end of the school
year from scholarships that are never applied for because students and their
parents do not realize they exist. Based on her first-hand experience, the
Director of Glass City is committed to assisting Glass City players and their
parents with the knowledge of accessing these scholarships. The Director will
have college information meeting with the parents of players of all Glass City
teams from age 15 and older to help them with this process. The web site will
offer links to a multitude of scholarships and their deadlines that need to be
strictly adhered to.
A scholarship to a Division I or II school may not
always be a full ride, and the families' ability to supplement an offer may make
the difference in a player having the financial ability to attend a particular
institution. Scholarships for Division III programs are never for
athletics. We are excited to be able to offer this service to our players and
their families at no additional cost.
